| Biography The son of two long-term radio amateurs who tried for years to get me to obtain my license and having worked in communications in the US Army, I finally became licensed in 1989. With the exception of 60 meters (no equipment for that one yet), I have been active on every band from 160 meters to 23 centimeters and have found that each band has its own charm and magic. My biggest concentration over the past several years has been weak signal work on 6 and 1.25 meters and am considering beginning to work with microwave frequencies (10 GHz?).
