Biography

I joined the US Navy at a young age to become an Electronics Tech. I worked on UHF/VHF, HF, RADAR, SATNAV, and SATCOMMS. I was on the USS Cushing from 1989- 1994. They ended up sicking her on July 14th 2008. Its like losing a good friend.

I spent the rest of my 10 years in the Navy at NAS Corpus working on Airfield Communications and Weather systems. It was a great time. I got out in 1998 and went to work for Dell Computers. I was taking 40 calls a day for those first few years and that engrained and enritched my PC skills. I then went to work in the IT group for Dell Financial Services. We were responsible for setting up systems to support the website for processing leasing applicaions on the website. Once these systems opened Dell for drawing in 12MILLION a day. (No Pressure) :)

After Dell I went to work in the Oiland Gas field as a Communications specialsts, support field data moving to gas control. Then ERON cleared the field and went to work for an OEM in the oil and gas instrumentation business working on flow computers.

I feel in love and got to move to Katy, TX (Which has the best HOA known to man. ) . My wife gave be a 2M HT for Christmas 2015 and I was off and running. I had a few friends that thought I would enjoy the hobby. They certianly helped me in the door.

I have met and chatted with some of the best people on the planet. They are always willing to lend a hand in helping everyone around them get set up and running. It's been a great experience so far. Once I get 3 or 4 more Antennas running I wil be ready for DXing what ever that means. :)
