Biography

Born and grown up in Rotterdam (The Netherlands). Ham radio attracted me mainly because of CW and I got my full license in 1962 at the age of 16 with callsign PA0BRM.
Due to age restrictions in The Netherlands those days, I had to wait almost 2 years to get QRV with my own home-brew ham-station.

Moved to Sweden in 1970, MSc graduated in Applied Physics and became the founder of Medonic with my companion in 1982. ( www.medonic.se )

Callsign in Sweden SM0FLY. Active on the HF bands mainly in CW and SSB. Although not a very fanatic DX'er, my total number of current valid DXCC entities is 340 (confirmed) out of 340 (include deleted = 362); collected through the years. Other free-time activities are/were 'FLYing' as you see above and I love to solve technical and other 'tricky' problems.

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

4 el steppir at 70ft / 2x EIMAC 3CX800A7
Vertical 160m / sloper 80m
