Biography

I've been a ham for over 40 years. My call sign is the original issue, not a vanity call. Enjoy CW, current digital modes, and work more SSB than I used to. Retired about 7 years ago and enjoy having more time to devote to the hobby. Have a 40' tower with a tri-bander up again. Hope to have VHF/UHF weak signal horizontal antennas up soon.
6m antenna is now up, working on 2m.

I am a VE liaison and vice-president of my local club. Elmer new hams every chance I get.

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

Love my old Drake TR-7 station, but primarily use my Icom 7100 or Icom 746. Currently using a 160 meter loop, a ground-mounted vertical and trapped dipole for HF antennas. 100 watts only at this time. Slowly rebuilding an old Yaesu FL-2100B that I may put in service one day.
