Biography
I am the current chairman of the Isle of Man Amateur Radio Society (http://iomars.wordpress.com) and a member of the RSGB, ARRL, RAFARS, SKCC, G-QRP, and FISTS.
I have been interested in radio from an early age, and started my radio career on CB... in 1979. I was a memeber of the Alfa Tango DX Group (137-A-108) and still hold a valid 11m callsign 137-CT-001.
I mainly used HF and can be found on 17m getting a rest from the constant contests on the usual bands! I operate data and CW from time to time, but prefer in the main to go for voice contact.
I QSL 100% and will return any card sent to me direct. IRC's are no longer available here (or accepted) so if you wish to contribute to the cost of returning a QSL please do so - US $2 is enough to cover costs but please do not think it is compulsory as I will return cards regardless.
If you would like a sked for a contact please email me - I am more than willing to try and make contact with anyone looking for that elusive GD call sign :o)
