Biography

Hello world
My first year with Amateur Radio has passed and I am still excited about this hobby. Since I started last year I made contacts with over 200 dxcc countries, mostly with a simple 10m/30ft endfed vertical antenna and the Yaesu ftdx10.
Thanks to the help of my local ham radio club in Düsseldorf (DOK R01), I learned a lot and got up to speed quickly. Knowledge sharing at its best!
Since I moved to the city of Essen, the local club in Essen Bredeney is very supportive. I can use their station equipment (Flex6700, Expert PA, multi-band beam, etc) remotely. Quite impressive, how good it works.
Next to amateur radio, I am out there mountain biking, sailing my new "O-Jolle" and learning to play guitar.
QSL information: LOTW, e-QSL Bureau and Direct are valid modes. Genuine reports from short wave listeners (SWLs) are welcome and are to be encouraged.
All my logs are periodically uploaded to LOTW, e-QSL, Clublog, HamQTH, and HRDLog.
73,
Michael

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
