Biography
Welcome.
Born in 1978, I started activities for fun in 1990, chatting for hours with friends of the citizen band and doing the first DXs.
The evolution arrives in 2000 and the involvement makes me take the first special callsign (IW3IDH),
subsequently evolved into ordinary (IZ3HLO) with the purchase of the first radios (Kenwood TS850 and TH77).
I’ve been active for a few years, then other priorities make me temporarily forget the radios and lose my callsign.
In 2020 I resume the radios, request the current callsign and start again with a simple fishing rod positioned on the terrace... I needed RF!!
Over the past three years I've improved antennas, bought new radios and built antennas for portable activity.
CW + VHF and UP!
From my home I mainly use cw, this is because the station is in the bedroom and my lady has a baseball bat always ready Hi Hi.
In 2022 I started my first activities on 2m and 70cm with the Italian Activity Contest and I became passionate about the world of contests.
Currently trying to do the main contests CW in HF and VHF&UP in phone/cw.
A special thanks to the friends of the ARI section of Mestre (IQ3ME) for the tireless involvement and the important technical and moral support (tnx IZ3VTH-IK3YBX ecc),
thanks also to Rodolfo IZ3ASA for giving me the passion for telegraphy twenty-three years ago and Francesco IU3QNT for the solid friendship.
See you soon on the air.. 73
