Biography
My Name is Lou, I live in Northern California. I passed my Tech in June and on July 2 I passed my General and on January 21 I upgraded to Extra. I am enjoying Ham radio. I am also now using Logbooks of the World so, if you can please comfirm our QSO there as well
I served 10 years in the US Army Band at Ft. Lewis Washington, the 84th US Army Band in Stuttgart Germany, and Ft Carson Co. I loved my service time and have life long friends made in the service.
I am a musician and play Clarinet and Sax I play in the Straight Ahead Big Band and other groups in Northern California as well as Teaching music at a high school in Redding. I love working with kids, it is a lot of fun.
My other Hobby is Geocaching and you can find out more about at www.geocaching.com. My wife and I love going out in the Jeep and hikeing and seeing new places.
I have my station up and running. I have a FT-890 and G5RV that runs HF and my 2m radio (Yaesu 1900) I will up load photos soon. thanks have fun.
