I have had a fair few hobbies over the years  from airgun target shooting to hunting with cf to motor cross.

One of my main hobbies is restoring old stationery engines .I like to tinker about in my workshop.

but i dont do much these days due to illness, I was diagnosed with MS  around 5 years ago and my walking

isnt very good these days,

I have always been interested in radio,my very first radio was a old AM cb hand held, which i had in the 80s

it was big as a brick.

Since we have been in lock down i decided to take my  exam which i should of done in the 80's

but things get in the way.


My homebase radio is yaesu ft991a with a yaesu md-100x  mic, my  main HF multi band antenna is a comet 250b

which does 80m to 6m and up to 90 MHz

I also have a full size serio 2016 5/8 wave 10-12 meter antenna and a diamond x30 n & diamond x510n for the 2 meter, 70 cm band

I also have a  anytone 878 handheld and a beofeng uv5r for 2m ,70 cm
