Biography

I just got my ham radio license in 2013, at the ripe old age of 73, a lifelong ambition, that I never got around to doing before. Life gets in the way. I'm now studying for my advanced and morse code. Lots of fun

Equipment

I started with a yaesu 450D and have since upgraded to a yaesu 5000D and just installed a SteppIR 3E with 40-30. Havé just installed a Flex 6300, a lot to experiment with...

Have been working on my shack for a while now and have it pretty well finished. But I guess we are really never finished, that is the fun of it.
Always a new project.

Have made friends, through the local club, and they have been very helpfull.
