Biography

Jim Davis WV0Q

I finally got my Ham Ticket in 2011!!! I was one of those CB kids in the seventies and always wanted to become a Ham.

Fort Collins is my QTH and is located sixty miles north of Denver Colorado. Fort Collins is known for WWV and lot's of micro-breweries!

I actively work CW, SSB, FT8, PSK-31, and RTTY on all bands.

I live in a HOA neighborhood that has outlawed all "visable" antennas. I choose not to accept the rule.

Clubs:

OMISS: 8156
FISTS: 17239
Feld Hell: 4602
30 Meter Digital Group: 6666

Please QSL: LOTW, eQSL, Direct or all three!

I retired in 2021. I worked for 17 years as a Spacecraft Integration Technician for Ball Aerospace in Boulder Colorado.

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

My Station:

ICOM 7300 for CW and digital modes.
Yaesu FT1000mp Mark V for SSB.
Buckmaster OCF Dipole at 35'
Ameritron AL-811 amplifier if needed.
MFJ 998 antenna tuner

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
